About Made With Ishq
A name for work done with Ishq.
Made With Ishq started in Lucknow in 2026. It is one name for many things built with care, and the first of them is the Made With Ishq Fellowship.
01 — What it is
Made With Ishq will run many initiatives under one name. Some will be free, like the Fellowship. Some will be businesses. Each will have its own name and its own page, and will say plainly which it is.
Running now
Only what has started is listed here.
02 — Where it started
Started in Lucknow.
Lucknow has always cared about how a thing is made: in its crafts, its language and its manners.
Students here, and in the towns and villages around it, have ideas as good as anyone's, and far less to build them with.
We want Lucknow to be known for what gets built here.
03 — Who is behind it
Started by Arqum Beg.
I'm Arqum Beg. I grew up near Lucknow, studied computer science in Bangalore, and have lived in Costa Rica for about ten years, building software for small businesses. In Lucknow I also run The Gamers, a gaming lounge.
I started Made With Ishq, and for now it runs on my own money and time. There is no company or investor behind it yet. When that changes, this page will say so.
